Elizabeth C. McCorvey
Executive Director

Ms. Elizabeth McCorvey relocated to New York from the State of Florida after her Mother Mrs. Vera L. McCorvey – FRC’s Chief Founding President became ill over 9 years ago.  Under her Mother’s tutelage, she served as FRC’s Associate Director until her Mom’s unfortunate passing in September 2007.  Ms. McCorvey rolled up her sleeves and hit the ground running in the struggle for social and economic justice for persons of all racial denominations.  She has served tirelessly as an affordable housing advocate, civil rights activist, and community leader in the City of Peekskill, N.Y.  Ms. McCorvey has been honored by many local and civic groups in Westchester County?
